Cooper
Sadly, Jennie Brannigan’s talented partner Cooper succumbed to his battle with laminitis, just one of the many complications after being injured in a freak accident during their Fair Hill CCI3* show jumping round, and the decision was made to humanely euthanize the eight-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.
During the past few years, Jennie, 22, and the athletic grey gelding took the eventing world by storm, racking up a near flawless record and creating a fairytale partnership. They won an astounding nineteen events, were awarded Adequan USEA Intermediate Gold Cup Champions in 2008 and Reserve Gold Cup Champions in 2009, CCI2* individual and team gold medal winners at the 2008 NAJYRC, and were named to this year’s USEF High Performance B List. They also received the prestigious Jacqueline Mars Training Grant, allowing them the opportunity to travel to England to compete in the Bramham CCI3*. Jennie also ranked alongside the top riders in the USA placing 2nd on the 2009 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Leaderboard on her amazing partner, Cooper.
From the Beginning, He made Us Smile.

Everyone who was touched by Cooper will miss him tremendously. Thank you to the entire eventing community, all of her supporters, those who donated and her friends for supporting Jennie & Cooper during this difficult time.
