Cooper

As many people know, Cooper suffered an injury during his stadium round at Fair Hill International, which required surgery, then an unfortunate colic surgery and further complications with laminitis. During the month of December 2009, Jennie had to make the difficult decision to humanely euthanize Cooper. He was a remarkable partner & his presence is missed everyday.

During the past few years, Jennie, 22, and the athletic grey gelding took the eventing world by storm, racking up a near flawless record and creating a fairytale partnership. They won an astounding nineteen events, were awarded Adequan USEA Intermediate Gold Cup Champions in 2008 and Reserve Gold Cup Champions in 2009, CCI2* individual and team gold medal winners at the 2008 NAJYRC, and were named to this year’s USEF High Performance B List. They also received the prestigious Jacqueline Mars Training Grant, allowing them the opportunity to travel to England to compete in the Bramham CCI3*. Jennie also ranked alongside the top riders in the USA placing 2nd on the 2009 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Leaderboard on her amazing partner, Cooper.
